This is a great campus established in 1995. The center is equipped with modern facilities and staffed by experienced Chinese language experts and professionals.
CCF is a leader in providing Chinese Language, cultural studies, and cross cultural skills. Cross Culture Exchange Corporation (CCE) is a multi cultural and educational organization that promotes cultural exchange and understanding. CCE’s mission is to make the world a harmonious village / community by creating new connections and building interpersonal networks between those of different languages & cultural backgrounds. CCE’s programs emphasize multigenerational and multicultural collaborations focusing on Sino-US exchanges.
CCE brings people from different cultures together in a supportive environment where they can get to know each other through face to face communication. One of the CCE’s many exciting programs is summer / winter camps for students. CCE has camp site in China for north American students, while providing a camp site in the USA for Chinese students. During the camp sessions, students have opportunities to learn how to better understand diverse cultures and develop intercultural skills. They also learn to integrate academic interests in service work. The summer / winter camps, either in China or in the USA, provide students, educators, and community members with opportunities to access, share information, and foster cross-cultural understanding. CCE encourages and assists young global citizens to recognize and understand life beyond boarders.

ACADEMIC PROGRAM
CCE gives a Chinese Language Placement Test (CLPT) for the prospective students. Participants are assigned into small teams during the pre-departure orientation in San Francisco.
STUDENT HOUSING
Students will be housed in dorm type accommodations at BTVU. The program includes lodging in a double occupancy room and three meals per day as part of a meal stipend at the many canteens on the BTVU campus. Rooms will include a TV, bureau, private bathroom and internet connection (no computer). Laundry service is not included, but facilities are located in the dorms.
Single occupancy rooms may be available for an additional cost.
CHINESE TUTOR/PARTNER
One of the best ways to learn Chinese is to have a Chinese tutor/partner. For each of our small teams, we will assign one or more Chinese tutors/partners. The Chinese Tutors/Partners are selected because they are bi-lingual, energetic, passionate and kind-hearted. Chinese Tutors/Partners will spend as much time as possible with our teams; for example, during meals, parties, tour trip, etc. Students can discuss different topics, make more friends and experience the real Chinese culture outside of the classroom. Students will also be invited to have lunch with the Tutor/Partners’ family in their home. The tutors/partners are changeable weekly, so our students will have opportunity to have more Chinese friends and practice conversational Chinese. This often develops lasting friendships and is an activity highly praised by students.
LANGUAGE CLINIC
Other than the Partners, students may participate in a daily language seminar with a CCF teacher. The teachers can help correct the student's pronunciation, tones and grammar. Students are able to speak with their teacher/instructor/partner about any topic in Chinese.
CULTURAL PROGRAM
A four-hour cultural classes are held in the afternoons during the week days. These classes provide students with a personal insight into Chinese culture through interactions with local artisans and teachers, as well as another opportunity to practice their language skills. Some examples of classes are seeing Chinese movies, watching painting, calligraphy, paper cutting shows, learning Tai Ji and Kung Fu, and learning to sing Chinese songs.
The other part of the afternoon cultural classes will be Tours & Excursions. The cultural tours will help students gain a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and history.
