depending upon America's high schools to ensure that their graduates
are internationally aware and interculturally competent and
prepared to participate effectively in today's diverse workplace
and global marketplace. The stakes are high, as our nation's
security and standing in the world are riding upon our schools'
ability to prepare students to be citizens of the world. These
demands are pervasive in every sector of society and the international
youth exchange can help schools meet these challenges.

Who Is Eligible to Participate
in our High School Exchange Program?
>> 15-18.5 years old with good physical and mental health
condition.
>> Have a sincere desire to participate as a member of
a US American family.
>> Currently enrolled in a high school in your home country
(or have completed no more than 11 years of secondary education
in your home country).
>> Have maintained a "C" grade point average
in your current school in China..
>> Have a sufficient command of the English language to
survive in an US American high school. Prospective students
will be required to take an English ability assessment test.
How To Apply?
>> Contact CCE China Office immediately. Send an email
with applicant's full name, mailing address, phone number, Email
address to: info@cceusa.org. Our professional staff will contact
you right away.
>> CCE China representative will contact you to schedule
an interview. Every student must be personally interviewed.
Most part of your interview will be conducted in English.
>> You will be provided with an application form to complete.
Acceptance will be confirmed by CCE Head Office in San Francisco..
>> Application Deadlines. For fall-semester students:
April 30. For spring-semester students: October 15.
What Is The Cost?
High school exchange programs are affordable. Costs vary according
to the length of program (semester or academic year). Please
contact CCE China Office for details.

>> Host family selection and high school placement
>> Room and board provided by a host family
>> Support and emergency assistance from CCE professional
staff in the US and China
>> Documentation for obtaining a J-1 or a F-1 Visa
