Terms/Conditions on CCE Services of Summer(winter)Camps, Trainings, Visits,Seminars,Conventions & all Cross Culture Exchanges Programs.
RESERVATION & CANCELLATION
1. Deposit: A deposit of $200 per person is required at the time of confirmation of the reservation. Reservation will automatically be canceled if the deposit is not received by Cross Culture Exchange Corporation (a short form CCE is used below) within 7 days after confirmation of the reservation. A copy of passport should be provided to CCE. All documents and tickets will be issued under the passport name.
2. Final Payment: Final payment of the total cost is due 45 days prior to your project starting/departure date. If your payment is not received by the due date, the reservation will be subject to cancellation and deposit will be forfeited.
3. Cancellation: All cancellation written notice must be received by CCE either by email or fax. Oral cancellation by phone will not be acceptable.
The following fee will be assessed per person accordingly when you cancel your reservation:
> 45-- 21 days prior to departure: 15% of the total price + airline penalty.
> 20--10 days prior to departure: 30% of the total price + airline penalty.
> 9--3 days prior to departure: 50% of the total price + airline penalty.
> less than 3 days prior to departure: 100% of the total paid.
> When a traveler cannot complete the tour for any reason, the un-used portion of the tour is not refundable, not exchangeable, nor transferable.
> In addition to the above stated cancellation charges, if airline tickets have already been issued at the time of cancellation (regardless of number of days prior to departure), the traveler will be assessed an additional airline cancellation penalty and service charge pursuant to the airlines rules and regulations.
Payments INCLUDE:
1. Travel Protection Plan Insurance: CCE provides full coverage of travel insurance to customers (USA & Canada residents only) at no additional charge when they make reservation and make final payment 45 days prior to the departure date. Optional protection plan is offered at your own expense when you make reservation or final payment within 45 days prior to departure. For visiting USA travelers from outside of the United States, insurance can be purchased only after the landing of a US airport.
2. Air transportation: All airline tickets indicated by your itinerary. When the airline listed in the brochure is not available, other airline will be substituted.
3. Hotel Accommodation: Based on two adults sharing one room, double occupancy, a customer who travels alone is required to pay a single supplement rate. When the hotel listed in the brochure is not available, the same category hotel will be substituted without prior notice.
4. Porter Service: The porter service included in some hotels is limited to one piece per person. All extra suitcase or luggage will be charged.
5. Meals: Three meals daily will be provided as mentioned in the itinerary. Only breakfast is provided on a free day or on a transit via Hong Kong.
6. Sightseeing: While sightseeing program is specified in the itinerary, its final agreements will be determined by local tour escort or tour manager based on circumstances which may be beyond the control of CCE. However, we will adhere to the original itinerary as accurately as possible.
7. Admission/Entrance Fee: All necessary main entrance fees and cruise tickets for programs mentioned in the itinerary will be included.
8. Bilingual guides in each city, and all tips for the guides, drivers, etc.
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
1. CCE strongly recommend and advise that all tour members purchase an insurance policy that covers trip cancellation / delay, medical/ hospital, baggage loss and baggage delay. As a agent of the Travelex Insurance Company, CCE helps our customers to purchase travel insurance. Our insurance location # is 05-0218. For detailed information or purchase the insurance, please call us or visit our website at www.cceusa.com and click “insurance”.
Payment DOES NOT INCLUDE:
1. Visa and passport fees. A visa is required to enter USA and Canada.
2. Any personal charges such as excess baggage charge, phone bills, postage, laundry, drinks, insurance premiums, or charges arising from deviation.
3. Meals not mentioned in the brochure.
4. Air fares from your hometown to the gateway city, or any charges levied by government agency.
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
1. Price: All prices are in US dollars and are based on tariffs and rates of currency of the first day of the payment month. Should flight schedule changes and requires additional night added to the package, the additional cost will be assessed to each passenger.
2. When the total number of tour members should fall below 10 people, CCE reserves the right to cancel the tour and tour fare except visa fees will be refunded.
3. Baggage: Baggage is the sole responsibility of the traveler. Check-in luggage allowance for transpacific flight is two pieces per person with combined total dimension not exceeding 106 inches provided neither exceeds 62 inches nor 50 lbs. Please check with the airlines before your trip departure for their most updated regulations on luggage limits.
Travel within Asia permits only one piece (not to exceed 44lb.or 20 kg.) per person. One standard carry-on is allowed for both international flights and travel within Asia. If you travel with more than one piece per person, you are required to pay any excess baggage fees on the spot. All luggages must be locked while traveling. Carry on baggage is limited to one piece with combined total dimension not exceeding 45 inches. Excess baggage charge and insurance is at owner’s responsibility.
4. Passport/Visa: All customers’ passports must be valid for at least 6 months from the return date of the trip. CCE is not responsible when you are denied entrance for any reason at a foreign country, even if you have a valid passport and visa.
5. Charges for Children: For children of 11 or under, if they share room with two adults and ask for an extra bed, they will be charged 90% of the regular adult’s land price. Airlines normally offer 25% discount on the children tickets. Children 12 and older will be charged at the regular adult price.
6. Change Fee: One change is allowed free of charge after your reservation is confirmed. $75 will be charged for each of the subsequent changes. Once documents/tickets have been issued, no change is permitted.
7. CCE reserves the right to exclude passengers as a tour member, when such person’s health, mental condition, physical infirmity or general deportment impede the operation of the tour or the rights, welfare or enjoyment of other tour members. Any unused tour feature either on air transportation or on land arrangement is not refundable, exchangeable nor transferable.
8. Shopping: Although our tour directors will be happy to assist you with any shopping requirements, CCE does not take any responsibility for any items purchased at shops on the tour. Any after-sales correspondence must be between the passengers and the shops.
9. Health: To ensure the smooth operation of the trips, CCE recommends that travelers be in good health. Please consult with your physician regarding to your wellness and ability to travel long distances. Any physical or mental disability which requires special treatment or attention must be noted at the time of reservation.
10. The airlines, airports, bus/ship companies, hotels, or local travel agencies have their own regulations and insurance policies protecting its clients regarding safety and other issues during the trip. Customers should contact related operators directly since CCE is not responsible for what the insurance of the third party tour supplier covers.
RESPONSIBILITY:
CCE acts only as agent. All travel arrangements included in this trip are made on participants’ behalf upon express condition that neither CCE nor its agents shall be liable or responsible in the absence of its (or their) negligence for any direct, indirect, consequential, or irregularity of any kind which may be accessioned by reason of any act or omission of any person or entity, including without limitation, any act of negligence or breach of contract of any third party such as an airline, train, motor coach, private car, cruise vessel, boat, or any other conveyance, hotel, sightseeing provider, local ground handler, etc., which is to or does supply any goods or services for this trip. Participant understands that CCE neither owns nor operates such third party suppliers and accordingly agrees to seek remedies directly and only with those suppliers, and nor CCE responsible for their acts, omission or commission. Without their limiting the foregoing, CCE and its agents are not responsible for any losses or expanses due to delay or changes of schedule, over booking of accommodations, default of any third parties, sickness, weather, strike, acts of God, acts of terrorism, acts of government’s civil disturbances, war, quarantine, customs regulations, epidemics, criminal activity or for any other cause beyond its control. All such losses or expenses have to be borne and paid for by the participants.
CCE reserves the right to substitute hotels, and alter the itinerary, withdraw any tour and make any desirable alteration for the convenience of the operation of trips. CCE reserves the right to cancel the tour prior to departure for any reason. Liability for such cancellation is limited to full refund of money received by CCE, and this will constitute full settlement with the tour member.
In foreign countries, the local reception agency quotes costs, and they reserve the rights to alter or adjust its costs. In the event that the local agency increases the cost of any service within their countries, trip cost is subject to adjustment. The right is reserved by CCE to cancel a trip prior to departure for any reason. In such case, a full refund of all payment will constitute a full settlement with the participant. The local handling agency has sole and exclusive control over the operation of all trips in foreign countries. The foreign handling agency reserves the right to make alternations, transportations, accommodations and all other services. Neither CCE nor any subsidiary or affiliate of CCE shall be responsible for any such alterations made by the local handling agency. Baggage is carried at owner’s risk and baggage insurance is recommended. CCE is not responsible for typographical or printing errors or omissions in this brochure. The general conditions under which you agree to utilize the services of CCE may not be amended in any way, except in writing, by an authorized officer of CCE. By utilizing the services of CCE, you agree that the exclusive venue for all claims shall be the County of San Francisco, States of California, and such claims shall be determined according to the laws and jurisdiction of the State of California.
The reservation and payment for CCE’s any services shall be deemed to have read, to have agreed and to have been consent to the above terms and conditions, such as the prices inclusions/exclusions, etc.
